I’m Katie and I’m the face behind KatieCakes Preserves. I have grown up in Aberdeenshire and I can’t think of anywhere I would rather live! 

I live on a small farm just outside Methlick, where I am incredibly lucky to have a huge amount of wild produce, as well as home grown fruit and vegetables available. I started making jams as a way to use some of this amazing produce. I have been working really hard over this past year to increase the amount and variety of fruit and vegetables which we grow that I can use in my preserves. I try and make both traditional and more unique and interesting flavours of preserves so that there is something for everyone.
